Elanora Outdoor Living – December 2016
The Hall’s approached Ellwood Building Co to bring their vision of an outdoor living space to life. With architectural plans to update the roof to a style similar to their local area, they also wanted add some personal touches that represented who they were as a family. The Halls love to entertain and in keeping with the rest of the theme of their existing floorplan, their tastes and lifestyle, they wanted to create an area which made use of technology, natural resources and maximised the space around them.
They wanted to make use of zones so that they could use the space in multiple ways, such as a outdoor kitchen and bar area, large scale pub style dining and lounge area. The Hall’s had a vision that was perfect for a family of their size.
Matured Palm Trees were to be incorporated into the design of the open, natural space. Blackbutt ceiling battens were installed as a feature and also served as a function for strip heating. As a builder, this was a very enjoyable job to be a part of, and the trust in which the client placed in Ellwood Building Co to bring their concept to creation, made it a wonderful creative partnership that still continues today. Presenting the final product to the clients was a proud moment.
